HI I’M ELISA

I collect stories, think in pictures and am constantly looking for the profound, the authentic. Sometimes, I wish I was an octopus. Yes, the ones with eight arms, three hearts and approximately nine brains. Eight arms, three hearts and nine brains is what I would need in order to do everything that excites me. Most of it is about art - in all its forms and shapes. What I like most about art, is its ability for creating connections. Connections between human and circumstances, human and human, human and world, world and meaning and so forth. It can live on in whatever form or shape it wants to and is able to have a say in any area of life and does not have to remain silent. The means of art allow me to express exactly what I am not able to express in any other way. Most of my artwork shifts somewhere between humans, language and nature. It deals with moments that feel real and play with details.
